by Gladys Diaz\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Let me ask you a couple of questions:<\/span><\/p>\n Did you know that communication and intimacy are 100% linked in a relationship? <\/span> Communication is key! You can have all the love in the world, and if you don\u2019t know how to communicate effectively, then the relationship simply will not work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 98% of the coaching we do is around communication.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Why? Because it\u2019s one of the most important aspects of any relationship (and it begins when you\u2019re dating!).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 99% of divorces and break-ups happen because root issues in a relationship never get resolved because the couple doesn\u2019t know <\/b>how<\/b> to communicate clearly, effectively, and in a way that BOTH partners feel heard and understood.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Let me paint the picture for you of how this happens. I\u2019m sure you\u2019re going to be able to relate.<\/span><\/p>\n Do you ever have the experience when you\u2019re talking to your partner that you\u2019re not even sure\u00a0 whether you\u2019re having the same conversation?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n I remember before Ric and I learned the tools we teach now — sometimes it would feel like we were so far from being on the same page that it was like we weren\u2019t even in the same room! <\/span> We would be talking about something completely innocent, like what bread we like to buy, and then I would say something, Ric would say something different, which made me feel like he didn\u2019t hear or understand what I said.\u00a0 <\/span> And then we wouldn\u2019t talk for two or three days.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Well, we would talk a little, but it would be what I like to call the \u201ccaveman\u2019s grunt.\u201d I would ask Ric a question and he would give me a one-syllable or one-word answer under his breath, to let me know that he didn\u2019t want to talk to me. (Ugh!)<\/span><\/p>\n Sound familiar?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n That\u2019s how break-ups and divorce happen.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Arguments start over silly (or sometimes important) things, the communication breaks down, and soon you\u2019re arguing about something completely unrelated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Then the silent treatment begins, and the real problem <\/span>never <\/span><\/i>gets resolved.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n So,\u00a0 do you want some real communication tools?<\/b><\/p>\n Do you want to stop getting frustrated with your spouse, getting angry and then reacting instead of responding thoughtfully and intentionally?\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n Do you want to know what to say so that when your spouse says, \u201cWhat did you say?\u201d instead of repeating the same words louder, you can respond in a way that will make you feel understood and heard (<\/span><\/i>and<\/span><\/i> loved)?\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n Do you want to know how to utilize your intention, tone and body language in your communication to increase love and intimacy?\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n These are just a few of the things you\u2019ll learn inside our Black Friday Special, the New Year New Love Bundle!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n

<\/span>So, I\u2019d say it again, but\u00a0 louder this time, and he <\/span>still <\/span><\/i>wouldn\u2019t understand,\u00a0 and, before we knew it, we were yelling at each other, saying things we didn\u2019t mean, being disrespectful, and hurting each other.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
