The term \u201cred flag\u201d is thrown around a lot by women who are dating. If we had a dollar for every time we\u2019ve heard it in our work – we\u2019d have a lot, I mean a lot a lot – <\/i>of dollars!!<\/p>\n There definitely are some red flags that you want to be aware of while dating. It\u2019s important to be awake and aware when you\u2019re getting to know men and thinking about who you\u2019d like to spend your life with.<\/p>\n However, a lot of the things women think are red flags simply aren\u2019t. <\/b><\/p>\n So, what is an actual<\/i> red flag?<\/p>\n A red flag in dating is something that causes you real (versus imagined or feared), physical<\/i> or emotional <\/i>danger.<\/p>\n Primary examples of red flags in dating are: <\/b><\/p>\n Red flags are things that are character flaws or character traits that don\u2019t work in loving, committed, happy, long-term relationships.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n Some of them are usually obvious from the get-go, but many of them usually don\u2019t come out right away during the dating process.<\/p>\n This is why it\u2019s so important to give yourself time to get to know someone.<\/p>\n Dating is simply the process of getting to know someone to see if you want to keep getting to know them.<\/p>\n When you give yourself that time, you can look for consistency of authenticity<\/b> so you can discern for yourself if any of these true red flags<\/i> are present.\u00a0<\/p>\n When you give yourself that time, you don\u2019t need to be afraid that you\u2019ll make a poor decision or that you won\u2019t see everything you need to see.<\/p>\n The thing is, if you\u2019re finding that every single man<\/i> you\u2019re attracting is bringing up the \u201cred flag\u201d question<\/i> – why would you want to keep doing that?<\/p>\n Get curious about why you\u2019re continuing to attract these types of issues into your life.<\/b><\/p>\n Your red flag is the one that\u2019s waving in the wind letting you know there\u2019s a pattern within you from an emotional wound from the past that\u2019s begging to be healed.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n One of our clients recently got engaged to an incredible man who she\u2019s madly in love with!
