How to Be a More \u201cDatable Me\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0\"Couple<\/a><\/p>\n

On my previous blog post<\/span><\/a><\/span>, I shared how you can become more datable \u2013 whether you are single or already married or in a relationship \u2013 by being present, open, and light-hearted.\u00a0 Today, I\u2019m sharing 3 more ways you can make dating a more fun and fulfilling experience that can lead to having the loving relationship your heart truly desires.<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>Be gracious and grateful.\u00a0 <\/b>No matter how confident a man may seem, it takes courage to go up to or call a woman and ask her out on a date, plan an experience that will make her consider going out with you again, and risk rejection by asking her out on another <\/i>date.\u00a0 When a man takes you out on a date, you don\u2019t \u201cowe him\u201d anything.\u00a0 However, it\u2019s easy to think that we do, because he\u2019s spending money on us.\u00a0 Rather than worry about what he may want in return (because, usually, any strings that are attached are attached by us<\/i>, not them), just receive his time, attention, gifts and compliments with grace and gratitude. Thank him \u2013 not just at the end of the date, but any time during the date that you notice something that is pleasing to you.\u00a0 This sends him the message that he\u2019s doing a good job, that you\u2019re pleased, and that it\u2019s probably safe to ask you out again!<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>Be yourself<\/i>. <\/b>Another thing that can make dating seem difficult and exhausting is the amount of time and energy we spend trying to impress the man we\u2019re with.\u00a0 It\u2019s almost as if we\u2019re auditioning or interviewing for a job.\u00a0 So much energy is going into trying to get him to like us that we don\u2019t give him a chance to see who we truly are.\u00a0 Just be your authentic self \u2013 that\u2019s who you want him to fall in love with anyway, right?<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>Be willing to reach out for support. <\/b>\u00a0I don\u2019t know why people feel weird<\/i> about asking for help when it comes to dating and relationships.\u00a0 People are willing to go to read books, take courses, and speak to experts in the fields they\u2019ve selected for their careers and businesses, but think there is something wrong<\/i> about reaching out to someone who is knowledgeable in the area of dating to get support and learn the skills that will lead to having the life and love their hearts yearn for.\u00a0 Anything <\/i>we consider a priority in life is worth investing time and money into.\u00a0 It all comes down to how great our desire is and how committed we are to making it a reality.<\/p>\n
