“Survey says…”<\/p>\n

Now this<\/i><\/b> you may find surprising! According to a Citi\/LinkedIn survey that was published earlier this week:<\/p>\n

When it comes to defining success, men<\/i> place more emphasis on marriage and children: 79% of men equate “having it all” with being in a “strong, loving marriage” vs. only 66% of women who feel the same. And when it comes to kids, 86% of men factor children into their definition of success vs. 73% of women.<\/p>\n

I have to say I was a bit surprised when I read those statistics!\u00a0 But not really\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve spoken to women from all over the world and time and time again, I hear how they are not ready to start dating because they\u2019re building their businesses, moving up in their careers, and, many times, afraid that men will feel too \u201cintimidated\u201d by their success to want to be in a relationship with them.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s where I have to stop them!<\/p>\n

Of course, it\u2019s your choice to focus on whatever you want to focus!\u00a0 It\u2019s your life and you get to create it any which way you\u2019d like.\u00a0 However, I want to make something crystal clear<\/i>:<\/p>\n

You do not<\/span><\/i> have to choose between having an amazing, profitable career or <\/i>an extraordinary lifelong romance.\u00a0 You can<\/i> have it all<\/span>!<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

An empowered choice is one in which you <\/i><\/b>choose what you want, simply because you choose it<\/i><\/b>. Not because you think it\u2019s the way it has to be.\u00a0 Not because you are afraid that you can’t have everything <\/i>your heart desires.\u00a0 And certainly <\/i><\/b>not because you think you\u2019d have to settle for anything less than what you want and deserve!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If one of the desires of your heart is to be in a happy, loving, fulfilling relationship that leads to marriage and perhaps a family, do not pretend <\/i>that that\u2019s not what you really want.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

Don\u2019t put it off.\u00a0 Don\u2019t be \u201creasonable\u201d or practical about it. But don\u2019t be na\u00efve and think it\u2019s \u201cjust going to happen,\u201d either!<\/p>\n

Just as you are willing to do what it takes to move up in your career, build your business and live the lifestyle you want to live, know that it\u2019s going to take some effort on your part to attract and meet a man who is going to love and accept you and who wants to share <\/i>your life \u2013 not because your life is not already complete <\/i>\u2013 but because he wants<\/em> to enhance and make it even better with<\/b> you!<\/i><\/p>\n
