Over the past few weeks, we’ve been talking a lot about changing and breaking free from the past.\u00a0 Sometimes, we’re inspired by the idea of changing – of letting go of the old and creating something new, something unlike what we had before.<\/p>\n

Other times, however, the thought of changing terrifies us. We wonder how we’ll do it, whether we’ll\u00a0really\u00a0<\/i>be able to change, and where in the world to begin.<\/p>\n

If this is how you feel about yourself and your life, know that it’s a pretty typical response.\u00a0 It’s a common reaction to be afraid of what you don’t know.\u00a0 It’s natural to want to know ahead of time how things are going to work out in the end.\u00a0 And it’s okay to admit that you don’t know where to begin.<\/p>\n

Change can be uncomfortable.\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Imagine how the caterpillar feels, day after day trapped inside of her cocoon, trying to move, transform, and break out of the shell that has been holding her captive for so long!\u00a0 I’m pretty sure the caterpillar doesn’t like being in there.\u00a0 It must be painful at times to allow her body to go through the changes it must go through to have her transform herself\u00a0from the inside out<\/i>\u00a0– replacing parts of herself that no longer serve their purpose with new ones; letting go of the life she’s known as a caterpillar to become something new, something she’s never known herself to be.<\/p>\n

When she finally emerges from her former shell, the butterfly is literally\u00a0unrecognizable<\/i><\/b>. There is\u00a0no trace<\/i>\u00a0of the former caterpillar left!<\/p>\n

Instead, what emerges is a beautiful, vibrant butterfly that is\u00a0ready<\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/i><\/b>to spread her wings and fly!\u00a0 The butterfly has\u00a0no idea<\/i>\u00a0what life has in store for her.\u00a0 She only knows that\u00a0in this new form<\/i>\u00a0she is able to soar, be free, and discover a whole new world that was completely unavailable to her when she was merely a caterpillar.<\/p>\n

We go through similar changes when we get to the point that we’re ready to grow and change.\u00a0\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We begin to leave behind the fears, doubts, and limiting beliefs that we’ve held onto and wrapped ourselves in for so long.\u00a0We begin to replace them with\u00a0new\u00a0<\/i>thoughts, beliefs, and habits that will help us become the woman we were created to be and to experience life\u00a0as if for the first time<\/i>, completely open to new experiences, opportunities, and, yes,\u00a0new love<\/i>!<\/p>\n

If you’re\u00a0tired\u00a0<\/i>of living life as a caterpillar – tired of being afraid, of allowing someone or experiences from your past to determine your worth, happiness, and what’s possible for you – and you’re\u00a0ready\u00a0<\/i>to begin growing, transforming, and becoming a new version of yourself, then make a choice to begin<\/b>\u00a0<\/b>now<\/span><\/b>!<\/b><\/h4>\n
