This weekend I attended a very powerful UN-Conference hosted by the Women’s Prosperity Network and there was a question that kept being asked all weekend long:<\/span><\/p>\n

What does “success” mean to YOU?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When most people think about success, they think about the goals they have achieved, how much money they are making, and what position or title they hold in their career.<\/span><\/p>\n

Certainly, those things make up\u00a0a part<\/em>\u00a0of success, but there are so many other aspects to our lives: family, health, spirituality, and, of course, our love lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you include those things in your definition of success?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I do. Michelle does. And I hope you do, too!<\/span><\/p>\n

See, when you experience success in\u00a0some\u00a0<\/em>parts of our lives, it’s not surprising that, no matter how many achievements, accolades, and awards we receive, there is still a part of you that feels unfulfilled – empty, even, as if there is an insatiable hole that just can’t seem to be filled, no matter how good things appear to be going.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is because success – true success – consists of feeling happy, secure, and fulfilled in\u00a0all\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>of the areas of our lives.\u00a0 So, when we don’t feel that – and, even worse, when we\u00a0deny\u00a0<\/em>that we\u00a0want<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0to feel successful in all<\/strong><\/span> of the areas of our lives (especially our romantic lives!) – there is a direct impact on our sense of aliveness, fulfillment, peace, and joy.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, now I’ll ask you a different question:<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you\u00a0want<\/em>\u00a0to experience success in every area of your life?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
