This past Saturday marked the fourteenth anniversary of my late husband\u2019s passing.\u00a0 It\u2019s always a bitter-sweet day for me.\u00a0 I am saddened that he\u2019s no longer here, that he went through a lot of pain and suffering toward the end of his life, and that our life together ended so soon after it began.\u00a0 I\u2019m also grateful for the time we shared together, for everything I learned about love and life, and for having been blessed to have been loved by him.<\/p>\n

I remember when he first passed away how lost I felt.\u00a0 I wondered if I would even be able to breathe without him in this world.\u00a0 How would I go on?\u00a0 With literally one single breath, all of my hopes, dreams, and plans for the future were gone<\/em>.\u00a0 I wondered if I would ever smile or laugh again.\u00a0 And I was sure<\/em> I would never <\/em>love or be loved that way again.\u00a0 After all, he was my \u201cThe One.\u201d\u00a0 And a love like that comes only once in a lifetime\u2026 Right?<\/p>\n

Thankfully, I was wrong!<\/p>\n

There are many people who believe that there is only One person in the world that is \u201cright\u201d for each other person in the world.\u00a0 We read about it in fairy tales and even books written by relationship experts.\u00a0 We see it on TV and in the movies.\u00a0 We are told that there is only one \u201cThe One.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

So, what happens when that person dies?\u00a0 Or what if the timing was wrong?\u00a0 Or what happens if you didn\u2019t recognize him when he was in your life?\u00a0 Are you doomed to a life of loneliness or \u201csettling\u201d for something less than what could have been?<\/p>\n

Thankfully, NO!<\/p>\n

The truth is that we live in a world of abundance \u2013 and that applies to love, too! Yes, it\u2019s true that once you find the person who is right for you, he will be your \u201cOne.\u201d\u00a0 You will know without a shadow of a doubt that he is the person with whom you wish to share your life.\u00a0 But, want know a secret?\u00a0 It\u2019s not because he was \u201cchosen\u201d for you.\u00a0 It\u2019s not even because it was \u201cmeant to be.\u201d\u00a0 When you attract that person who is absolutely right for you, you will get to choose<\/em><\/strong> to love him.\u00a0 Why? Because being in-love is a choice<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 It\u2019s a day-to-day, moment-by-moment choice to give and receive love.<\/p>\n

As I said earlier, there was a time in my life when I honestly believed I would never<\/em> love again.\u00a0 And I can\u2019t tell you how incredibly grateful I am that I was wrong! <\/em>How absolutely thrilled I am that my current husband and I met.\u00a0 It was one of the loveliest, sweetest, and most unexpected surprises of my life!\u00a0 I have been able to experience the capacity to love and be loved beyond my wildest dreams!\u00a0 I know <\/em><\/strong>that finding love again IS<\/strong> possible.\u00a0 And it\u2019s possible for you<\/em><\/strong>, too!<\/p>\n

So, if you\u2019re holding on to the thought of \u201cthe one who got away,\u201d or, if, like me, you\u2019ve lost someone you truly and deeply loved, whether by death or other circumstances, don\u2019t sentence yourself to a lifetime of loneliness or anything other than the extraordinary, amazing, take-your-breath-away love you deserve and your heart desires! Embrace the great memories, let go of the sad ones, and open your heart to love once again!\u00a0 Believe and allow your next true love \u2013 your next \u201cThe One\u201d \u2013 to find, love, and be loved by you!<\/p>\n
