by Gladys Diaz\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Do you feel like your intuition is broken?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Do you feel like you don\u2019t know what\u2019s best, or how to make the right decisions?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Do you feel like you can\u2019t trust men? Your friends? Yourself<\/i><\/b>?<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n That last one\u2019s important, because\u2026 if you can\u2019t trust yourself, how are you ever<\/i> going to be able to trust anyone else?\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The other day I was talking to a woman, and, as we were talking, the issue of trust just kept coming up. Finally, I asked, \u201cHow many times have you experienced someone cheating on you?\u201d Her answer shocked me for someone for her age. It was over 5 times! <\/b>As we continued talking, we discovered that the issue of infidelity was something that had been in her family for years<\/i>. – Of course<\/i><\/b> she has a hard time trusting men!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n As women, our biggest need is to feel safe. How can we feel safe with others when we feel we can\u2019t trust the person we\u2019re with?\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n I was there, too. Because of the alcohol abuse, abandonment, and pretending that I engaged in during in my childhood to hide what was going on in our home from everyone around me, I had trouble trusting people. My thought was, \u201cIf I can\u2019t trust my own mother, how am I ever going to trust anyone else, or even myself<\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Because of that limiting belief, I wasn\u2019t making the best decisions about who I was allowing into my life, and I kept attracting the wrong guys. I was dating terrible men \u2013 mean men who didn\u2019t love, honor, or respect me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n When I started to do my HeartWork<\/i>, <\/i>I forgave my mom, my ex-boyfriends, and myself for the choices we had all made. Not long after that, I met Ric. He was so authentic! His honesty was something I found super-attractive. I took my time getting to know him, saw that I could trust myself to choose a good man, and the rest is history! How grateful I am that I learned how to trust??? Very!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Here\u2019s the thing\u2026 if you\u2019re feeling like you don\u2019t trust others \u2013 especially men \u2013 then y consider that you don\u2019t trust yourself<\/i>. <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n So\u2026How do you shift that?\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Here\u2019s the formula that Michelle and I use with our clients to help them know whether it\u2019s their intuition<\/i><\/b> <\/i>that\u2019s guiding them or if it\u2019s their fears, limiting beliefs, and superstitions <\/i>doing the talking.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n It\u2019s simple.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n If it\u2019s your intuition, then there is evidence of it around you.\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n If it\u2019s your fears, limiting beliefs, and superstitions then you\u2019re making up the evidence.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n What if you can\u2019t tell the difference? <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Give yourself some space. Detach from the situation a little bit so that you can see what\u2019s actually happening and<\/i> what\u2019s not happening. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Take a look and see if maybe you\u2019re making something up that\u2019s not actually happening in reality? <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Is a memory being triggered?<\/span><\/p>\n Are you choosing to ignore something that <\/span>is<\/span> happening? <\/span><\/p>\n Are you crossing and not honoring your own boundaries for someone else?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n When you take a step back and look at it with new eyes, I promise you you\u2019ll be able to hear what your intuition is telling you! <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n And then you get to trust it and yourself <\/i>to make the choice that\u2019s right for you!\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n If you\u2019re having a lot of trouble trusting others and don\u2019t know where to start, start by forgiving yourself for the choices you\u2019ve made in the past and give yourself permission to move on!
