Today’s post is short and sweet, but powerful. Before you can freely love and be loved, you must love and accept yourself exactly the way you are and exactly the way you are not. You are the doorway through which love flows!
Is there something you’ve been resisting, rejecting, or resenting about yourself? Bring acceptance to it and see what begins to open up for you!

Oh so true! I teach this to my clients as well. When did we lose the love, self-respect and the honoring of who we truly are? It is not selfish to love yourself and it is the first step in opening up to be fulled loved by another.
Absolutely, Diane! So many women feel “guilty” or “vain” when they begin to explore loving and accepting themselves. But, until we can truly embrace all of who we are (both the “light” and the “dark” side, it’s virtually impossible to allow love to freely flow to and from ourselves.
Actually I like short and sweet – who made up the 500 word rule for posts anyway?
Not sure, but I’m glad you liked the post! 🙂
I think self-love is the first step to everything and anything in life. Thanks for the wonderful reminder!
I do, too, Louise! It opens the door of the heart and soul to new possibilities! Thanks for commenting! 🙂
