That’s probably of the most heartbreaking things to hear from my clients. This usually comes after a bad date, a break-up, or after not having the kind of success they want in dating and relationships.
The sad part is that they don’t say they are giving up on dating or on meeting the right guy… They say,“I’m giving up on having the love I want.”
If you’ve been in that place, you know just how painful it can be.
The disappointment and disillusion become just too much to bear and the thought of being alone for the rest of your life begins to seem less painful than believing that you can have the love you want and not seeing it happen yet.
This is why, when a client makes a comment like and still trusts us to help her do the work to get to the other side of her pain and resignation, and then reaches out to let us know she just got engaged, we just have to share it with the rest of the world!
So, today, we get to celebrate Kristin’s engagement!
Kristin worked with us as both private client and the Ready to Love Again program. She experienced the pain of heartache and the empowerment that came with removing the love barriers that were standing in her way so that she could welcome new and extraordinary love into her life!
She met a great guy who loves her as much as she loves him and who wants to spend the rest of his life showing her just that!
When I received the picture of her beautiful ring, all I could do was cry! There I was, in the middle of my son’s Boy Scouts Car Wash, laughing and crying at the same time! And I didn’t care!
I remembered just how hurt she had been and how she truly believed that she would not meet the man who would make her dreams come true! But, thankfully, Kristin was courageous enough to trust her coaches who believed in her and in her dream and weren’t ready to let her give up! She trusted us, did the work, and attracted the man of her dreams!
In her own words:
During the program, I was able to make a list of what I wanted to experience during courtship with a man. I will tell you this: I have seen every one of those things I listed with this man!”
I don’t know what comes up for you when you read and hear me say over and over again that you CAN have the love your heart desires.
I don’t know if that makes you shrug your shoulders and roll your eyes in resignation or if it inspires you to believe and step forward in faith.
Here’s what I do know. It IS absolutely true and it IS possible for YOU. It really is.
You just have to be willing to break through your fears, doubts, and resignation and begin learning and practicing the skills that are going to have you attract and create the relationship your heart truly desires.

Today is the first day of school for my kids and I’m really missing them! The house seems so quiet, and I find myself counting down the hours to when I can go pick them up!
As much as I would have liked summer to have lasted a little longer, I’m also excited for them! They have no idea how many new and exciting lessons they are going to learn, all of the amazing things they are not even aware that they don’t know! It’s like a whole new world is waiting just to be discovered!
I’m also excited for the ladies who are just getting started our Ready to Love Again program! They, too, are beginning a new journey filled with thrilling lessons, awesome discoveries, and breakthroughs too big for them to even imagine!
Already, we are hearing wonderful feedback from what is opening up for them after just one call!

Nothing makes us happier than when we see one of our clients in a happy, loving relationship – especially when her belief when she started working with was that it would never happen for her!
This is what happened for our client, Melisa! Those of you who were on our list last year may have heard Melisa’s incredible coaching conversation with Michelle. Melisa had gotten out of a painful breakup with her boyfriend who had cheated on her and, a week later, was already with someone else. She was feeling hurt and wondered if anyone would ever really love and accept her fully.
Melisa shared how she had a pattern of ignoring the red flags she saw early in relationships and attracting men who were liars, cheaters, and unavailable to be in a relationship with her, leading her to repeatedly experience heartache and pain.
What Melisa discovered during her session with Michelle was that she was playing a very real and active role in perpetuating this vicious cycle. She uncovered the limiting beliefs that were having her attract men who would not love and accept her, and it all began with the way she saw and was relating to herself because of her physical disability.
During the session, Michelle said the words to Melisa, “The good news is that, if you created all of that, you can create something else… Something authentic, true, and bigger than the disability you were born with, because you are so much more than that!”
Well, we’re happy to say that Melisa listened, not only to Michelle, but to her heart, and, after working with us last year, she is now in a very happy and loving relationship!

Last night was rough. We dropped my older son off at Church and I watched him leave on a big white bus without me – for a week!
Now, I know that there are millions of parents out there doing the same thing this summer. And I know he’ll have fun. And I know that it’s normal to miss him.
Knowing all of that simply didn’t lessen the pain and sadness of missing him last night. It also didn’t lessen the fear I felt.
See, the truth is that, aside from missing him, I’m afraid.
My son has Asperger’s Syndrome – a mild form of autism that affects his social skills – so it takes a lot of courage and faith for me to be able to let go and trust that he will be okay when I’m not there at his side.I’m afraid of not being there with him while he’s thousands of miles away. I don’t like knowing that I won’t be there to protect and reassure him if something goes wrong or he makes a mistake. I won’t be there to buy him something I may have forgotten to pack. I won’t be there if he needs or misses me.So, I cried myself to sleep last night, and I prayed a lot.
As I prayed, I reminded myself that I trust myself enough to know that I made a good choice in letting him go on the trip.
I reminded myself to trust the leaders who reassured me time and again that they would be looking out for him, would make sure he’s okay, and would keep me posted as to how he’s doing.
I reminded myself that this kid is extraordinary and never ceases to amaze me in how he does not let autism stop him – ever!
His courage and willingness to try and move beyond his fears inspire me every day to trust myself and break through my own fears!
I reminded myself that I want my son to have these experiences because I want him to learn to trust himself, too. I want him to see that he is able to get through difficult times, that he’s capable of solving problems and making good choices, and that he can have fun, even if everything does not go exactly according to plan.
So, in the end, I chose to trust!
